Owenmore Gaels 1-20 Tourlestrane 0-6

The lads began their Lola Montez Junior A Football Championship campaign with a win against Tourlestrane in Kilcoyne Park, Tubbercurry on Sunday morning. A bright start from the lads saw us run up an early lead and once we took the lead we never looked like relinquishing it. A strong performance  from 1 to 15 with the substitutes making their mark when introduced resulted in a 17 point victory. The result see us pace one foot in the quarter final with a potential semi final spot up for grabs if victorious over Shamrock Gaels in three weeks time.
